    It is important for the viewer to know that Dania belongs to a low caste family. These kinds of families are usually very liberal and are unrepresentative of overwhelmingly conservative Saudi society.

    May I just add, that in Saudi culture, Saudi women who dine with strangers are classified as lower caste families . So it is brave for this woman to do dine with a stranger on camera!
    In some of the shots they looked like an intimate couple.

    Anthony Bourdain was very wise to chose a country that People so harshly misconcieve. Most people wouldn’t even think that a place like Saudi Arabia would be like the way it was portrayed in this episode. Great job!
